WHAT’S INCLUDED
- Stallard Arms JS-9 pistol
- 1× 8-round factory steel magazine
The JS-9 was Stallard Arms’ flagship 9mm, using a striker-fired blowback system that eliminates linkages and locking lugs. The hefty 39-ounce zinc-alloy slide provides the necessary mass to control the 9mm cartridge, while the fixed steel barrel promotes consistent accuracy.
Collectors recognize the JS-9 as the direct predecessor to today’s Hi-Point pistols. Early production features visible here include rear slide serrations, integral fixed sights, and a heel-type magazine release uncommon on later models.
A manual thumb safety works in tandem with an internal firing-pin block for straightforward handling. The single-action trigger offers a familiar pull, and the black checkered synthetic grips give a secure hold.
Made in Mansfield, Ohio, this pistol represents an interesting chapter in recent American firearms manufacturing, offering both practical function and niche collectible appeal.
