What’s Included
- Tasco 3-9×40 riflescope (installed)
The rifle is an original tang-safety M77, a design produced from 1968 to 1992 and favored for its smooth bolt throw and intuitive safety placement. Serial number prefix 771 confirms 1988 manufacture, placing it near the end of this classic variant’s production run.
Chambered in .25-06 Remington, this M77 offers a flat-shooting cartridge that is less commonly found in the model, adding collector interest while still providing versatile hunting performance.
The 24-inch alloy-steel barrel features a 1:10" right-hand twist and a recessed crown to protect accuracy. Ruger’s integral scope bases are machined directly into the receiver, ensuring solid optic mounting; the included Tasco 3-9x40 scope is already fitted for immediate use.
Its American walnut stock features crisp checkering, a palm swell for improved grip, and Ruger’s red recoil pad with the phoenix medallion. The push-feed bolt incorporates an external claw extractor and plunger ejector, feeding from a fixed four-round internal magazine.
