Built in France by Manurhin and imported with a T.G.I. INC KNOX TN mark, this P1 reflects its police service history with the Berlin Police starburst property marking. The slide carries French manufacturer markings and uses a separate breech block, consistent with the P38 lineage.
The pistol employs a double-action/single-action trigger with a slide-mounted safety/decocker. A heel-release magazine catch, external spurred hammer, and lanyard ring at the heel support its duty-oriented configuration. Rear cocking serrations provide a positive grip for slide manipulation.
Its 4.9-inch steel barrel is complemented by fixed sights: a front blade on the barrel band and a fixed rear notch. The full-size alloy frame and black checkered synthetic grips offer a classic service pistol feel with a light, durable receiver.
This early-pattern P1 uses the Walther P38-style short-recoil, falling locking-block design and an 8+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. The frame and slide wear a uniform black finish, aligning with the period-correct appearance for 1963 production.
