Staccato (STI) Trojan 5.0 9mm 1911-Style Pistol – Match-Grade 5" Barrel, Fiber-Optic Sights, Four 9-Round Mags
The Staccato Trojan 5.0 is a full-size 1911-pattern pistol built for precision and speed. Its match-grade, ramped barrel, crisp single-action trigger, and factory Dawson fiber-optic front sight give shooters a competition-ready edge straight from the box. Discontinued around 2017 and produced before STI transitioned to the Staccato name, this model pairs classic 1911 ergonomics with modern performance features, making it a sought-after choice for range, competition, or collection.

What’s Included
- Staccato (STI) Trojan 5.0 pistol
- Four 9-round steel single-stack magazines
The Trojan series blends classic 1911 lines with performance-oriented upgrades. A fully supported, match-grade 5" barrel offers enhanced case support and excellent accuracy potential, while the full-length steel guide rod ensures reliable cycling under rapid fire.
The matte-blued carbon-steel frame features a stippled front strap—an uncommon factory touch within the STI lineup—providing a secure grasp without aggressive checkering. Cocobolo-tone double-diamond wood grips add a traditional appearance and complement the subdued blued finish.
Sights are competition-focused: a red fiber-optic front paired with a low-profile Heinie two-dot rear. Combined with front and rear angled slide serrations, they allow fast sight acquisition and easy manipulation.
Controls follow the proven 1911 formula: a left-side thumb safety, a grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger with an over-travel stop screw for a clean, predictable break. The commander-style rowel hammer reduces lock time and adds to the pistol’s refined feel.
With STI no longer producing the Trojan after its 2017 discontinuation, examples in this condition—especially with four factory magazines—have become increasingly hard to find, adding collector appeal to a platform already respected on the firing line.
