What's Included
- Dan Wesson Model 375 SuperMag .375 SuperMag revolver
- Approximately 8-inch SuperMag shroud with vented rib and side cutouts (installed)
The .375 SuperMag chambering is the rarest in Dan Wesson's SuperMag lineup, adding notable scarcity to this revolver. Built on the SuperMag frame designed for 1.610-inch cartridges, it retains the forward, crane-mounted cylinder release and a six-shot fluted cylinder. This example is a Monson, Massachusetts gun with an SM-prefix serial, produced in 1984.
Dan Wesson's interchangeable, tensioned barrel system uses a muzzle nut to maintain barrel tension, with a user-set cylinder gap via feeler gauge. The installed SuperMag shroud measures approximately 8 inches and incorporates a vented rib, full underlug, and side lightening slots.
Sighting is handled by a replaceable front blade on the vent rib and a square-notch, screw-adjustable rear sight. The action is double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer and checkered spur, offering precise control for deliberate shooting.
The revolver is constructed of steel with a polished blued finish on the frame, cylinder, and shroud. It is fitted with a smooth walnut one-piece grip carrying the DW medallion, complementing the high-polish presentation.
Originally intended for IHMSA silhouette and hunting, this Model 375 SuperMag pairs the long SuperMag shroud with adjustable iron sights and robust construction, making it a standout example of 1980s U.S. revolver design and a compelling collectible.
