Built as a true left-hand variant marked "MODEL 700 LH," this rifle pairs Remington’s proven bolt-action with a jeweled bolt body and a checkered bolt knob for positive control. The two-position safety and internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate (release ahead of the trigger guard) provide straightforward operation in the field. Capacity is 3+1 in .338 Win. Mag.
The 24-inch blued sporter barrel is cleanly finished and set up without open sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and Burris two-piece bases and Burris-marked rings are already installed. This configuration keeps the lines sleek while making scope setup direct with the included hardware.
The BDL-grade walnut stock wears a high-gloss finish with cut checkering, a Monte Carlo comb, and a cheekpiece for a solid cheek weld. Classic BDL touches include a black fore-end tip and black grip cap with white-line spacers, sling swivel studs, and a recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Markings include the Remington oval R.E.P. proof, barrel address and warning text, and an inspector/assembly stamp "57." The barrel date code "KK" confirms May 1990 production, and the rifle was made in the USA.
