The stainless steel barrel measures 18.5 inches and features a recessed crown and unthreaded muzzle. It uses a 1:16 RH twist suited to .22 LR and runs a proven semi-automatic blowback action. The satin silver finish matches the aluminum alloy receiver for a clean, cohesive look.
The stock is hardwood with a straight comb and traditional barrel band, offering a 13.5 inch length of pull. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the rifle uses a cross-bolt safety. This example retains the metal (pre-polymer) trigger guard housing.
Factory open sights include a dovetailed front blade and a folding, barrel-mounted rear sight. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a Ruger one-piece combination Weaver/.22 tip-off base is installed with matching silver rings. A Bushnell variable-power riflescope in silver is mounted and ready to use.
Feeding is via Ruger’s detachable 10-round BX-1 type rotary magazine system, giving a 10+1 capacity with one in the chamber. The included flush-fit magazine completes the standard 10/22 Carbine configuration.
Manufactured in 2003, this carbine’s 255 serial prefix indicates shipment circa 2004, near the 40th-anniversary period of the 10/22 platform.
