Produced at Tula in 1941, this rifle bears the five-point star-with-arrow crest on the barrel shank, reflecting wartime manufacture. It features a round receiver and retains its correct WWII-era configuration, including original-style military markings.

The rifle is chambered in 7.62x54R with an approximately 29-inch barrel and an overall length of about 48.5 inches. The barrel and receiver are steel with a blued finish. The hardwood stock wears a shellac-type military finish and has sling slots with metal liners. Length of pull measures approximately 13.5 inches.

Its action is the standard two-lug, cock-on-open bolt design. Feeding is from a fixed 5-round internal magazine designed for stripper-clip loading.

Sighting equipment includes a tangent/ladder rear sight graduated to 2000 meters and a drift-adjustable front post. The front sight hood is not present on this example, and the cleaning rod is missing.

Markings include the Tula star-with-arrow on the barrel shank and an importer roll-mark from P.W. ARMS, Redmond, WA. The rifle carries a Cyrillic-prefixed serial on the barrel shank with matching numbers observed on the bolt handle root, magazine floorplate, and trigger guard.
