What’s Included
- Winchester Model 1912 20 Gauge pump-action shotgun
Manufactured in 1913 per WACA serial tables, this example represents an early "MOD. 1912" rollmark variant. It carries Winchester oval WP proofs on the barrel breech and receiver ring, along with a patent legend with dates ending July 5, 1910. The barrel extension/takedown yoke bears a low serial consistent with the stated production year.
The shotgun uses Winchester’s takedown construction with a locking collar and joint at the receiver ring, making transport and maintenance straightforward. It loads from the bottom, ejects from the right side, and has an internal-hammer, pump-action system. The trigger group lacks a disconnector, making it slam-fire capable. Capacity is 5+1.
The 25-inch plain round Nickel Steel barrel is marked FULL choke and has no rib. Sight picture is simple and fast with a single brass front bead, complemented by a matted anti-glare strip on the receiver top.
Stocking is classic Winchester: walnut pistol-grip, straight-comb, and uncheckered, paired with a ribbed corncob walnut fore-end. The butt is fitted with a steel, checkered plate marked "Winchester Repeating Arms Co."
