What’s Included
- Winchester Model 12 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun (takedown)
The Model 12’s takedown system uses an interrupted-thread barrel collar and a magazine-tube cam, allowing the barrel and magazine assembly to separate from the receiver for transport and maintenance. The action is the well-known internal-hammer, pump-operated design with right-side ejection.
This shotgun retains the standard sporting configuration: a plain steel barrel with no rib, paired with a bead front sight. The receiver top is finished with a serrated/matted sighting plane. Proof and origin markings include WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL and MADE IN U.S.A.
Furniture consists of a grooved corncob walnut forend and an uncheckered walnut buttstock with a pistol grip, straight comb, and a Winchester-logo hard rubber buttplate. The metal carries a traditional blued finish on both barrel and receiver.
Manufactured in 1955, this example aligns with the period-correct features associated with mid-1950s production. The model is also referred to as the Model 1912, reflecting its early designation within Winchester’s lineup.
