The rifle retains its classic Model 1894 solid-frame, top-eject configuration with a standard small lever loop and right-side loading gate. The 26 in half-octagon/half-round barrel is made of nickel steel and is factory-marked "NICKEL STEEL BARREL — ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER," consistent with smokeless-era production in this period and caliber.
It wears a dovetailed blade front sight with a small bead and an adjustable sporting/semi-buckhorn rear sight with an elevator. The top tang is marked "MODEL 94" and is drilled and tapped for a tang sight; a plug screw is currently installed.
Furniture includes a straight-grip walnut stock with an oil finish and a curved steel rifle buttplate, paired with a walnut fore-end capped by a steel fore-end cap. An exposed hammer with a knurled spur complements the lever-action layout and traditional handling characteristics.
Manufactured in 1905 by serial-range data, this rifle shows period details prized by enthusiasts, including the solid-frame, top-eject receiver and early markings. No Winchester "WP" proofmarks are observed, aligning with the era and configuration.
