The receiver is the classic Marlin solid-top, side-eject design, with the top marked "MARLIN SAFETY" and the tang marked "MODEL 1893." It uses the Marlin Safety two-piece firing pin system and an external hammer with a checkered spur.
The rifle features a 30-inch octagon barrel paired with a full-length tubular magazine, delivering a capacity of 15+1 in .32-40 Winchester. This long-barreled configuration reflects the period rifle setup documented for late 19th-century Marlins.
