Bauer Automatic .25 ACP Micro Pistol, Satin Stainless, Pearlescent Grips, 2.1 in Barrel, 6+1, USA (1972–1984)
This Bauer Automatic stands out as a U.S.-made stainless copy of the FN Baby Browning, produced in Fraser, Michigan between 1972 and 1984. It uses investment-cast 416 stainless for both the frame and slide with a satin finish, and this late-production pattern includes a top-slide loaded chamber indicator. Compact and purpose-built, it features pearlescent grip panels and a barrel that rotates approximately 45 degrees clockwise for takedown.

Built on investment-cast 416 stainless steel, the frame and slide wear a uniform satin stainless finish that defines the model. The micro dimensions and 2.1 inch barrel make it notably compact while retaining solid steel construction.
This late-production configuration adds a loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide. It is striker-fired, single-action, and uses a simple blowback system. Capacity is 6+1 with the included single-stack magazine.
Controls and features are straightforward: a manual thumb safety, rear slide serrations, and top anti-glare serrations. Sights are fixed with an integral front blade and integral rear notch for a low-profile arrangement.
Takedown is distinctive for this pattern, with the barrel rotating approximately 45 degrees clockwise to disassemble. Many parts interchange with the Baby Browning, and the factory pearlescent imitation-pearl grip panels complete the period-correct look. Manufactured in Fraser, Michigan, these pistols were produced from 1972 to 1984.
