The receiver top is serrated and drilled & tapped with filler screws, and the hardwood furniture includes a corncob-style fore-end and ventilated recoil pad.

The Pardner Pump Protector uses a steel receiver and 870-pattern design with bottom loading and side ejection. Its 18.5-inch smoothbore barrel is non-ribbed with a true cylinder bore and a brass bead front sight, providing a straightforward, durable setup.
The shotgun is chambered for both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. Factory capacity is 5+1 with 2 3/4-inch shells, and the installed Choate Tool magazine tube extension increases capacity and projects past the muzzle. A left-side receiver-mounted six-round shell carrier adds convenient on-gun ammunition storage.
Hardwood furniture includes a ribbed, corncob-style fore-end and a stock with a ventilated recoil pad and rear sling swivel stud. The length of pull measures 14 inches, offering a traditional fit and solid shoulder interface.
The receiver top is longitudinally serrated and drilled & tapped with filler screws. The finish is a matte blue/parkerized-style across the steel receiver and barrel.
