The Model 70 Standard Rifle configuration here uses the post-1964 push-feed system with a recessed bolt face, plunger ejector, and a small extractor. The bolt body is jeweled, and the safety is the familiar three-position style. Capacity is four rounds in an internal box magazine, and the floorplate release is located inside the trigger guard.
