What’s Included
- Henry Golden Boy SAR 250th Anniversary - Boston Tea Party rifle (Model H004SAR)
Factory engraving sets this commemorative apart. The right receiver panel carries the SAR logo, while the left panel features an engraved Boston Tea Party ship scene with scrollwork. The walnut buttstock also bears the SAR logo, and the walnut forearm includes a laser-marked panel reading BOSTON TEA PARTY - DECEMBER 16, 1773.
The rifle retains the hallmark Golden Boy configuration: a 20 in blued octagonal steel barrel, .22 S/L/LR chambering, and a tubular magazine with a removable inner tube. Capacity is 15+1, complemented by a 1:16 twist for rimfire loads.
Construction and trim are classic Henry. The receiver is brasslite with a polished brass finish, paired with a straight-grip American walnut stock and brass buttplate. Sights are traditional iron types: a dovetailed brass-bead front and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear.
Handling dimensions are practical and well-balanced, with an approximate overall length of 38.5 in, weight around 6.75 lb, and a 14.0 in length of pull. The smooth lever action includes a 1/4-cock safety and exposed hammer, with a clear Made in USA rollmark from Bayonne, New Jersey.
Commemorative details extend to the serialization, which begins with 250SAR for this series. This rifle is part of Henry’s SAR 250th Anniversary program commemorating the Boston Tea Party, with a portion of proceeds supporting the SAR Education Center & Museum.
