What’s Included
- Glenfield Model 30A .30-30 lever-action rifle
- Skinner Express receiver peep sight installed
Built in 1980 and marked with the JM proof on the barrel shank, this rifle reflects North Haven production and the Glenfield series lineage. It is mechanically equivalent to the Marlin 336, with a solid, flat-top receiver and side ejection, and it is drilled and tapped from the factory.
The 20-inch barrel balances fast handling with traditional carbine length. A full-length tubular magazine to the muzzle provides a 7+1 capacity. The carbine uses a standard loop lever and does not have a cross-bolt safety. The fore-end end cap is retained by side screws, with no rear barrel band.
Sighting equipment includes a ramp front sight and a Skinner Express receiver peep rear sight. The front sight has aftermarket paint applied. The rear aperture is mounted on the receiver, providing a clean, receiver-level sight picture.
The hardwood furniture features a pistol-grip stock and matching fore-end, pressed checkering, and the classic deer motif, capped by a black buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, offering a traditional fit.
