FEG PA-63 9x18mm Makarov DA/SA Semi-Auto Pistol, Two-Tone, 3.9 in Fixed Barrel, 7+1, Hungary (1984)
This Hungarian-made FEG PA-63 is a 1984-accepted example of the classic service pistol produced from 1975–1990. It features a fixed-barrel, blowback-operated Walther PP-style design with DA/SA operation, a slide-mounted safety/decocker, and a distinctive two-tone look: blued steel slide over a silver anodized aluminum alloy frame. Clear Hungarian acceptance markings, matching butt number, and sharp rifling with a mirror-bright bore highlight its condition and appeal.

What’s Included
- 1x 7-round steel single-stack magazine with finger-rest baseplate
- Brown leather belt holster with snap retention strap
The PA-63 uses a fixed-barrel, blowback-operated system with double-action/single-action operation. It incorporates a slide-mounted safety that also functions as a decocker, an exposed ring-spur hammer, and a single-stack 7+1 magazine retained by a heel-type catch. This model omits an external slide-stop lever.
Construction details include a carbon steel slide finished in blue over an aluminum alloy frame with silver anodizing, creating a purposeful two-tone profile. The slide has vertical rear serrations and anti-glare serrations along the top. Black checkered synthetic grips provide a secure hold.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a fixed front blade integral to the slide pairs with a fixed rear notch set in a dovetail. The barrel measures approximately 3.9 inches and is fixed to the frame, contributing to the pistol’s consistent alignment.
This pistol bears the slide marking "9x18 MAK. PA-63 FEG HUNGARY" and a Hungarian acceptance crest dated '84 on the left side of the frame, indicating 1984 acceptance. The butt is stamped "3963," matching the suffix of the frame serial. Made in Hungary, the PA-63 was produced from 1975 to 1990, and this example aligns with that production history.
