This Baby Rock is a compact, steel-frame .380 ACP built on a 1911-style platform. It uses straight-blowback operation paired with a 3.75 inch barrel, a traditional 1911-style barrel bushing, and a short recoil spring plug. The slide and frame wear a matte Parkerized black finish for a subdued, utilitarian appearance.
Controls and ergonomics follow the 1911 pattern, including a beavertail grip safety and a left-side manual thumb safety. A skeletonized trigger and ring-style hammer provide a familiar trigger feel, while checkered synthetic grip panels with RIA medallions offer secure purchase.
The slide features an external extractor and both front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Sights are fixed in dovetails, with a blade front and a low-profile notch rear, giving a simple, durable sight picture.
Compact dimensions make it easy to handle: approximately 6.62 inches in overall length, 4.62 inches in height, and 1.25 inches in width, with an unloaded weight around 1.47 pounds. Capacity is 8+1, and this pistol includes one 8-round magazine and one 7-round magazine.
Manufactured in the Philippines and imported by AP International, Pahrump NV, the pistol is marked accordingly. Factory references cite 4140 ordnance steel construction. Observed markings include a slide legend reading "M1911A 380" and a barrel hood marked "CAL .380."
