The 3.5 in Super Magnum chamber accepts 2 3/4, 3, or 3 1/2 in shells, providing broad load compatibility.
Built around a steel receiver and barrel with Remington’s ArmorLokt polymer overmold, the shotgun wears a durable black/gray matte finish. Twin steel action bars support consistent cycling, and the cross-bolt safety offers straightforward operation. Capacity is 6+1.
The synthetic stock includes a recoil pad and an integral rear sling stud, paired with a synthetic forend for a secure grip. Length of pull measures 13.75 in. A fiber-optic green front bead on a raised base provides a bright, easy-to-acquire aiming point.
Factory mounting features include a receiver-top Picatinny rail and an accessory rail on the barrel/mag clamp, giving you built-in options for adding compatible accessories. The receiver and barrel share the same black/gray matte finish for a cohesive look.
Additional notes: This Tactical variant was produced circa 2010–2015 in the USA. There is a documented serial-number discrepancy between the pictured box label and a user-supplied serial, and the receiver serial is not visible in the photos. As part of the model’s general history, Remington issued a 2014 safety recall for certain Model 887 shotguns.
