What's Included
- F.lli Pietta 1851 Navy U.S. Marshal White Engraved .44 percussion revolver
- 1x 6rd mag
Built on the Colt-pattern open-top design, this single-action percussion revolver is a six-shot .44 with a sheriff-length 4.875 inch octagonal barrel. It retains the classic loading lever system with wedge and retaining screw, staying true to period layout while offering modern manufacturing from Italy.
The white-engraved treatment is factory-applied, covering the bright white steel frame, barrel, and cylinder with scroll and border work. Five-point star motifs accent the frame and barrel lug, and the hammer sides are engraved as well. The cylinder is a half-fluted, rebated style without a naval scene, creating a clean, distinctive look.
Controls and furniture include a brass trigger guard and backstrap paired with a one-piece smooth walnut grip in the Navy profile. Sighting is traditional and fixed, with a brass bead up front and a hammer notch rear, keeping the topstrap clear in the open-top pattern.
Markings are correct and clear: the left barrel is stamped "CALIBRE 44," and the top barrel flat reads "F.LLI PIETTA – MADE IN ITALY" with the FAP diamond logo. Italian proofs are present, including PN black-powder proof and Gardone proof symbols, confirming its origin and proofing as a black-powder reproduction.
