This carbine features a 20-inch barrel made of Winchester Proof Steel, roll-marked with factory legends. The barrel markings read: 'MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA - WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL - TRADE MARK -' and 'WINCHESTER - MODEL 94 - 32 W.S. -'.
The blued steel receiver retains the classic top-eject design and feeds via a right-side loading gate.
Sights are traditional and practical for a carbine of this era: a ramped front sight with a pinned blade (no hood) and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator. The left receiver wall is factory drilled with a two-hole pattern for a receiver sight, and filler screws are installed.
Stocked in walnut, the rifle wears a straight-grip buttstock and a matching walnut forearm secured by two barrel bands. A steel, checkered shotgun-style buttplate complements the carbine profile and period-correct look.
As a pre-64 configuration manufactured in 1947, this Model 94 aligns with features collectors prize: Winchester Proof Steel barrel, top-eject receiver, traditional iron sights, and no cross-bolt or tang safety, all presented in a straightforward carbine package.
