Manufactured in 1965, this Model 100 falls within the series produced from 1961 to 1973. It is the standard rifle configuration with a 22-inch barrel (not the 19-inch carbine), chambered for .308 Win. The barrel rollmark reads: "WINCHESTER TRADE MARK - MODEL 100 - CAL .308 WIN - MADE IN U.S.A. - WIN. PROOF STEEL." Both barrel and receiver wear a blued finish. The rifle was made in the United States.
The one-piece walnut stock showcases post-1964 pressed basket-weave checkering with an oak-leaf motif and an oval W medallion. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches. A sling swivel is installed.
