This H&R M1 Garand is a CMP-rebuilt .30-06 rifle with classic Parkerized steel and walnut furniture, a bright, clean bore, and correct USGI features. The receiver heel is marked "U.S. RIFLE / CAL. .30 M1 / H.&R. ARMS CO." with a serial in H&R's 1955–1956 second production block, and the stock shows a CMP cartouche on the left wrist.

It is equipped with a 24 in. barrel, an 8-round en-bloc clip system, and iron sights with windage and elevation drums.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: There are minimal markings from previous handling and use. Please refer to the pictures for details.

    What’s Included

    • M1 Garand en-bloc clips (2x 8-round)

Receiver heel markings read "U.S. RIFLE / CAL. .30 M1 / H.&R. ARMS CO." and the serial 5717825 places this rifle in H&R's second production block from 1955–1956. It was CMP-rebuilt and released through the Civilian Marksmanship Program, and the stock bears the CMP cartouche on the left side of the wrist, confirming its CMP provenance.

The rifle retains a Parkerized finish over its steel receiver and components. It uses the standard M1 long-stroke gas system with a rotating bolt and feeds from 8-round en-bloc clips. The barrel measures 24 inches, and the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The bolt is a Springfield Armory D28287-2SA part, a correct USGI component often encountered on CMP rebuilds.

Furniture includes a full-length walnut stock with two-piece walnut handguards. Stock features include a steel buttplate with trapdoor, a rear sling swivel, and front sling and stacking swivels. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, providing a classic M1 Garand fit and handling profile.

Sights are the standard iron setup: a wing-protected front post and a rear aperture with windage and elevation drums. These allow precise adjustments and are consistent with U.S. service configuration for the platform.

Manufactured 1955–1956; refurbished by CMP. It is a United States-made, collectible M1 platform example with CMP documentation elements and key USGI markings.
