Built at Tula and marked with the star-with-arrow emblem, this M1895 represents the classic Russian pattern with its DA/SA operation and steel construction. It is chambered for 7.62 Nagant and uses the original 7-shot cylinder, paired to a 4.5 in barrel.
The revolver retains the model’s signature engineering: a forward-camming, gas-seal mechanism that mates the cylinder to the barrel face. It uses a right-side loading gate, an under-barrel ejector rod, and a lanyard ring at the butt. The long oval flutes on the cylinder reflect the traditional M1895 profile.
Sighting is straightforward with a fixed front blade and a fixed rear topstrap notch. The frame is blued steel and fitted with reddish-brown checkered synthetic grip panels. An exposed, checkered spur hammer supports both double-action and single-action firing modes.
Markings include the Tula Arsenal emblem on the frame, a boxed symbol above the right-side window, and assorted inspection marks on the cylinder face. An import inscription on the right frame reads PW ARMS REDMOND WA / M1895 RUSSIA / 7.62x38R with serial information.
