Produced at Walther's Zella-Mehlis facility in 1945, this late-war PP has a sterile left slide and right-side "ac" maker code with serial. Small inspection/proof marks are present, including two small "4" stamps on the barrel hood. The slide and frame carry matching serial numbers with a lowercase "p" suffix, a detail collectors often note on very late WWII pistols.
The pistol is compact with a 3.9 in barrel and an 8+1 capacity in .32 ACP. It wears a blued finish over carbon steel and is outfitted with black checkered plastic grips featuring Walther banner medallions. An anti-glare top rib and vertical rear slide serrations support the fixed sight picture, which pairs an integral half-moon front blade with a square-notch rear.
Operating on a straight blowback system with a DA/SA trigger, it uses a slide-mounted manual safety/decocker and a loaded-chamber indicator. Late-war configuration details include a magazine-activated hold-open with no external slide stop. A push-button magazine release on the left side and an external spur hammer round out the controls.
Additional late-1944/1945 simplification features are consistent with very late WWII production from Zella-Mehlis. A lanyard ring is fitted at the lower rear of the grip. Made in Germany, this example aligns with WWII-era Walther PP characteristics while retaining clean, readable markings.
The included Otto Sindel Berlin 1941 leather flap holster has an integrated spare-magazine pouch, and the Walther factory magazine is the flat-base, single-stack type with witness holes and a Walther banner near the base.
