The slide is through-hardened alloy steel with a black oxide finish and rear serrations for traction. Integral, non-dovetailed fixed sights are machined into the slide, with glare-reducing serrations on the rear face to aid sight clarity. The 3.12 in alloy-steel barrel uses a 1:10 RH twist.
The glass-filled nylon frame is finished in black and wears molded texturing with Ruger medallions for consistent handling. Left-side manual controls include the safety, slide stop, and takedown pin for simple operation.
It is a striker-fired, locked-breech design with an integrated trigger safety, a manual thumb safety, a magazine disconnect, and a chamber inspection port. The slide is marked "RUGER • PRESCOTT, AZ • USA," and the pistol was manufactured in 2019.
