Produced for Interarms by Ranger Manufacturing in the United States, this PPK/S reflects the early Interarms period with distinctive markings. The right side of the slide is Interarms-marked, and the Walther banner carries MADE IN U.S.A. The bilingual caliber/model rollmark and absence of German proof/date codes further support its U.S. production origin.
Serial details align with period practices: the frame and slide share matching serial number 013842, and the slide also carries the serial electro-penciled forward of the ejection port. An observed plum hue on the trigger guard finish tone adds a subtle, period-correct visual note.
Built on an all-steel, compact frame, this PPK/S is chambered in .380 ACP with a 3.3 in barrel and a 7+1 capacity. It uses a straight blowback, DA/SA, hammer-fired system with a ring-type spurred hammer. The slide-mounted safety/decocker includes a red fire dot indicator.
Sight regulation is straightforward and durable: a pinned front blade with a single white dot and a drift-in rear notch. The slide wears vertical rear serrations and an anti-glare top rib, and the pistol is finished in a blued tone with black checkered plastic grips bearing the Walther banner.
