The Daniel Defense DDM4 V11 combines a 16 inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined government-profile barrel and a mid-length gas system with the lightweight SLiM Rail 15.0. It features forged 7075-T6 receivers, an ambidextrous safety selector, Daniel Defense furniture with soft-touch overmolding, and a 17-4 PH stainless flash suppressor. The build is rounded out by a chrome-lined, MP-tested M16-profile bolt carrier group and weighs approximately 6.28 lb.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The 16 inch barrel is chrome-moly-vanadium steel, cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and HP/MPI tested with a 1:7 twist. It uses a mid-length gas system and is threaded 1/2x28, fitted with a Daniel Defense 17-4 PH stainless flash suppressor.
The free-float Daniel Defense SLiM Rail 15.0 (KeyMod) provides an uninterrupted top Picatinny rail with KeyMod at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, the 15.0 inch rail offers ample mounting surface while keeping weight low.
Receivers are forged 7075-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing and M4 feed ramps. The upper includes a forward assist and ejection-port cover. Inside, the M16-profile bolt carrier group is chrome-lined and MP tested, with a properly staked gas key. An H buffer and a mil-spec 6-position receiver extension support reliable cycling.
Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector and a standard magazine release. Daniel Defense's adjustable buttstock and pistol grip feature soft-touch overmolding; the stock is glass-filled polymer with 6-position adjustment and a 10.5 inch length of pull. Capacity is 30+1, weight is about 6.28 lb, and overall length measures approximately 32.25 to 35.875 inches. No iron sights are included.
