What’s Included

- Extar EP9 Owner's Manual (Rev. 2022)
The EP9 uses a simple blowback action paired with a nitrided 6.5 in barrel threaded 1/2x28 TPI. The Blacknitride+ treatment on both the barrel and bolt supports durability and a smooth finish, while the polymer receiver keeps weight to approximately 4.09 lb unloaded.
Controls follow an AR-style layout with a selector safety and a left-side bolt catch. The pistol ejects to the right and is charged via a forward, non-reciprocating handle on the left side, offering intuitive manipulation.
It feeds from Glock-pattern 9mm double-stack magazines and incorporates a patented last-round bolt hold-open designed specifically for those magazines. Capacity is listed at 18+1 with the included magazine.
A full-length 1913/Picatinny top rail runs the receiver for mounting as needed, and the ventilated polymer handguard provides elongated M-LOK slots. The pistol is equipped with a polymer stabilizing brace with a hook-and-loop strap and a textured polymer pistol grip.
Manufactured in the USA, the receiver markings read: "EXTAR LAKE HAVASU CITY AZ USA" and "EP9 CAL 9X19MM," with "EP" molded into the rear of the upper receiver. The EP9 ships without sights.
