The Colt .357 "Three-Fifty-Seven" is an I-frame DA/SA revolver built in the United States during a concise production run. This 1958 example is chambered in .357 Magnum with a six-round cylinder and a 4-inch barrel, delivering a classic, full-size configuration in carbon steel with a high-polish blued finish.
Sighting features include a serrated ramped front blade and an adjustable square-notch rear with a top-mounted elevation screw. The barrel carries a matte top rib, and the top strap is finely serrated to reduce glare, supporting a clear sight picture.
Controls are thoughtfully executed: a smooth trigger face pairs with an exposed hammer featuring a wide, checkered spur for confident DA/SA operation. The revolver uses a frame-mounted firing pin on the Colt I-frame and retains an unshrouded ejector rod with a knurled tip.
Grip panels are checkered walnut with silver Colt medallions, complementing the high-polish blued frame, cylinder, and receiver. The barrel rollmark reads "COLT .357 / .357 MAGNUM CTG."
Accompanying this revolver are its original Colt cardboard box and the Colt factory test target, each bearing the matching handwritten serial, which aligns with the period-correct presentation of this model.
