This Rough Rider configuration is the Birdhead Convertible, featuring a two-cylinder setup with .22 LR installed from the factory and a .22 WMR cylinder included as a spare. The revolver uses a 6-shot fluted cylinder and operates in single-action only with an external spurred hammer.
The 4.75 inch barrel is paired with a full-length ejector-rod housing and a knurled ejector head for positive case extraction. Sighting is straightforward and durable, with a fixed blade front and a rear notch in the topstrap.
The birdhead grip frame wears gray/black marbled synthetic pearl-style panels that complement the compact profile. Overall dimensions are approximately 9.50 inches in length, 5.25 inches in height, and 1.50 inches in width, with an unloaded weight of 29.30 ounces.
Construction combines an alloy steel barrel and cylinder with a black oxide finish and a zinc-alloy frame and receiver in matching black oxide. The revolver is made in the United States and marked "HERITAGE MFG., INC., BAINBRIDGE, GA." Barrel marking includes a warning to keep the chamber under the hammer empty.
Rifling consists of six grooves with a 1:14 inch right-hand twist. A frame-mounted hammer-block safety adds an additional layer to the traditional single-action manual of arms.
