This Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk is a stainless, single-action .44 Rem Magnum with a 7.5 inch cold hammer-forged barrel and an unfluted six-shot cylinder. It includes Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system and loading gate interlock, adjustable iron sights, and aftermarket black checkered rubber grips. Made in the United States, this 1980s-era revolver is marked with correct Ruger rollmarks and accepts .44 Special ammunition in addition to .44 Magnum.

The 7.5 inch stainless barrel is cold hammer-forged, providing a robust configuration well-suited to the .44 Rem Magnum chambering. The satin stainless finish extends across the frame, cylinder, and barrel for a uniform look.
The unfluted six-shot cylinder and Dragoon-style square-back trigger guard reflect the classic Super Blackhawk profile. Stainless construction is used throughout the frame, cylinder, and receiver components.
Iron sights are configured with a ramped front blade and an adjustable rear, offering a clear sight picture. The single-action mechanism provides a familiar, deliberate trigger press.
Ruger’s transfer-bar safety and loading gate interlock are present, allowing carry with all six chambers loaded. In addition to .44 Rem Magnum, this revolver also accepts .44 Special ammunition.
The revolver is fitted with aftermarket black checkered rubber grip panels for a secure hold. Factory rollmarks include the right-side frame legend "RUGER .44 MAGNUM CAL. NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK" and the barrel address "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." Production is from the 1980s, with the year manufactured listed as 1983.
