What’s Included
- Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Type III pistol
- 1x 8-round single-stack steel magazine with pinned baseplate; matches Colt 1903 .32 ACP pattern
The Type III configuration (1910–1926) adds the integrated barrel bushing and predates the addition of a magazine disconnect. This example is chambered in .32 ACP with an 8+1 capacity and a 3.75 inch barrel, combining a compact footprint with the model’s signature concealed-hammer profile.
Controls and operation are true to the model: single-action blowback system, a heel-release magazine catch, and both a thumb safety and grip safety. The smooth, curved trigger and concealed hammer contribute to the pistol’s streamlined handling characteristics.
Slide and sighting features include vertical rear serrations, an external extractor, a fixed rounded front sight, and a drift-adjustable rear notch. The slide legends are present: right side reads "COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" and the left side bears "COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG.
CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. PATENTED APR. 20, 1897.
DEC. 22, 1903." along with the Rampant Colt logo at the left rear.
Construction is carbon steel with a polished commercial blue finish. The frame and slide are blued, and the pistol wears checkered walnut grips with round Colt medallions. A small "K" stamp is present near the front/right side below the muzzle, consistent with observed inspection or assembly markings on period examples.
