What's Included
- A. Uberti 1847 Walker .44 percussion revolver
Built by A. Uberti S.p.A. and imported by Cimarron, this 1847 Walker reproduction delivers the hallmark open-top Colt-style wedge construction. It features the Walker-style spring-tipped loading lever catch that engages a muzzle stud, true to the original pattern and designed for secure operation during use.
The forged-steel barrel measures 9 inches and is shaped part-octagon/part-round. Sighting is traditional, with a fixed brass blade up front and a rear notch cut into the hammer. The barrel top is correctly roll-marked "ADDRESS. SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY."
The revolver uses a long, unfluted 6-shot roll-engraved cylinder in .44 caliber. Rifling consists of 7 grooves with a left-hand twist, approximately 1:18, providing a period-correct interior profile.
Materials and finishes are period-appropriate: a blued barrel and cylinder, color case-hardened steel frame and receiver, a brass square-back trigger guard, and a steel backstrap. The walnut one-piece grip completes the classic profile. Overall length is about 15.7 inches, with a weight of about 4.46 lb.
Markings include Italian proof/date stamps on the barrel lug and frame. Matching serial markings are present on the barrel lug, frame, and buttstrap, consistent with factory practice for this model.
