WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Remington Model 12 pump-action rifle
This rifle is marked "MODEL 12" on the receiver, and the barrel is marked ".22 SHORT, LONG OR LONG RIFLE." The barrel also shows the Remington script marking with "TRADE MARK" beneath, along with the barrel date code "CU," which corresponds to a 1927 manufacture year.
Configuration details match the classic Model 12 pattern, including the oval-shaped side ejection port on the right side of the receiver and the large slotted takedown-style screw on the right side. It uses an under-barrel tubular magazine with knurled/capped end hardware near the muzzle.
The rifle wears a dark blued finish on both the barrel and receiver, paired with an uncheckered wooden buttstock and a wooden pump/slide fore-end with longitudinal grooves in a ringed style. Sighting equipment consists of open sights with a blade front sight and a barrel-mounted open rear sight.
With a listed 22-inch barrel and a provided capacity of 10+1, this Model 12 is presented as a representative example of Remington's long-running pump-action rimfire design introduced in 1909 and produced through 1936, associated with designer J. D. Pedersen.
