Built on a steel frame with a dark glossy finish, this Old Model Blackhawk features the classic three-screw configuration with multiple visible frame screws and no "New Model" marking visible. It uses a loading-gate style frame and an ejector-rod housing under the barrel, consistent with the traditional Blackhawk layout.
The revolver is chambered for .45 Colt and .45 ACP via its convertible cylinder setup. The .45 ACP cylinder is installed on the gun, and the .45 Colt cylinder is included separately, giving you two cartridge options while keeping the platform consistent.
For sighting, it is equipped with iron sights that include an adjustable square-notch rear and a blade-style front sight on a ramp base. The cylinder is fluted, and the revolver is a 6-round single-action-only (SAO) design.
This example includes custom wood grip panels featuring Ruger-style round medallions and decorative gold-tone inlays in eagle and longhorn/bull-head motifs. These grips set it apart visually while retaining the Blackhawk's traditional two-piece panel format.
