This Model 370 is configured with a fixed full choke, clearly marked on the barrel. The 28" plain barrel is smooth (non-vent-rib) and fitted with a front bead sight for a clean, traditional sight picture.
The receiver is marked "WINCHESTER / NEW HAVEN CONN.", and the barrel is marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" along with "MADE IN CANADA". The barrel also carries the model and chamber marking: "WINCHESTER MODEL 370 20GA-2 3/4 & 3 CHAM".
Controls and furniture are consistent with the Model 370's single-shot format: a break-action, hammer-fired design with an external exposed hammer and a single trigger. It is stocked in uncheckered wood with a matching wood forend.
The length of pull is 14.0, and the shotgun is fitted with a black buttplate with horizontal grooves/ribs retained by two screws. Capacity is single-shot (1 round).
