The Military-marked frame provides the 1911-style grip angle favored by many target shooters, paired here with the 5.5 inch slab-sided bull barrel for stability. The solid top rib is drilled and tapped with three screw heads for optional balance weights, and a push-button barrel takedown plunger sits under the front of the frame.
Sights are purpose-built for precision: a rib-mounted micrometer, fully adjustable square-notch rear paired with a Patridge front blade. The rib-mounted base keeps the rear sight low and stable along the barrel axis for a clear, target-focused sight picture.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish on the slide and frame. Smooth walnut grip panels complement the pistol’s clean lines. Controls include a manual safety and heel-type magazine release, with the small parts (trigger, safety, and magazine catch) finished in a gold color. The slide has rear serrations and a right-side ejection port.
Operation is blowback, semi-automatic, single-action with a detachable single-stack magazine for a 10+1 capacity. The seven-digit serial format without ML/SH prefix is typical of early Model 107-series pistols, and the Hamden, Connecticut rollmark denotes Hamden-era production.
