This is a hammer-fired, lever-action Model 94 with an exposed hammer and a steel receiver. It has a right-side ejection port with a top-eject style receiver profile, consistent with the classic Model 94 layout.
The barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - MODEL 94 - WINCHESTER - 30 W.C.F." and "MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN." The barrel also shows "WINCHESTER - PROOF STEEL" markings, and the tang bears a single-letter "W" stamp.
Furniture is carbine-pattern with a wood fore-end and a straight-grip wooden buttstock. The wood is plain, smooth, and uncheckered, and the rifle wears a steel buttplate with horizontal serrations retained by two screws. Banded carbine-style hardware includes a barrel band and a front band, and the tubular magazine runs under the barrel with a capped magazine-tube end at the muzzle.
