What's Included
- Colt Cobra revolver
Configured as a 2-inch snub-nose Colt Cobra, this revolver features a 6-shot swing-out cylinder and an exposed ejector rod with a knurled tip and no shroud. The barrel is marked "COBRA" over ".38 SPECIAL CTG," consistent with the model markings found on these compact .38 Special Cobras.
It uses fixed sights with a ramp-style blade front sight and a topstrap notch/groove rear sight. The exposed hammer supports single-action use, while the double-action/single-action design provides flexibility in how the revolver is run.
This example wears a dark, polished finish and is fitted with brown checkered wood grip panels with round Colt medallions. The revolver is identified as a First Model/First Issue configuration, with the serial number in the "B" prefix range.
A notable feature of this specific gun is the non-factory-looking hand-engraved/etched backstrap marking, "WFF II." The marking is confined to the backstrap and is the only engraving detail noted.
