What's Included
- Smith & Wesson Victory Model revolver
Built during 1942-1943, this Victory Model reflects Smith & Wesson’s WWII production with a matte military-style finish and the classic Military & Police-pattern layout. Markings include "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D.", along with "MADE IN U.S.A." and "38 S&W CTG" on the barrel.
This example is a full-size, DA/SA, hammer-fired revolver with an exposed hammer and fixed sights, including a fixed front sight in a half-moon/blade style and a rear notch integral to the topstrap. It wears smooth, uncheckered wood grips and retains a lanyard ring at the butt.
The revolver uses a swing-out, fluted 6-shot cylinder, with the ejector rod positioned under the barrel. The sideplate shows the Smith & Wesson circular trademark/monogram, and the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON."
Chambering is .38 S&W. As marked, .38 S&W is not interchangeable with .38 Special, and ammunition selection should match the "38 S&W CTG" designation on the firearm.
