It was built by Schuler Machine & Gun LLC, and it retains classic AK-pattern features like a riveted stamped receiver, removable ribbed dust cover, and wood furniture. Notable markings include a 1970-dated front trunnion marking and selector markings showing "S" and "FA."
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: This firearm is in solid functional shape. There are scratches and blemishes present. The bore is clean and shiny. The rivets are tight to the receiver.

Built by Schuler Machine & Gun LLC on a Morrissey INC AAM-47 stamped receiver, this rifle is a Romanian MD63 parts-kit build chambered in 7.62x39. The receiver is marked "MORRISSEY INC (Bloomington, MN) MOD: AAM-47" with the caliber marking.
It uses a gas-operated, long-stroke piston action with an AK-pattern safety/selector lever. The rifle features a left-side charging handle and a stamped, riveted sheet-metal receiver with a removable ribbed dust cover.
Furniture consists of a fixed wood buttstock with a 13.0 length of pull, along with wood upper and lower handguards. It also has a reddish-brown checkered pistol grip, and a cleaning rod is visible under the barrel.
Sighting is via iron sights with a protected post front sight and a tangent rear sight with a graduated range scale. A slanted/angled-face muzzle device is present, though the muzzle threads are not confirmable.
Markings called out on this rifle include a front trunnion marking of "1970 CT 1578" with a triangle emblem stamped before 1970 on the trunnion, a dust cover marking of "CT 1683," and X/Y axis-location style stampings on the right side of the receiver.
