This Zastava Arms M59/66A1 is a Yugoslav SKS-pattern semi-auto rifle manufactured in 1979 in Serbia during the late Cold War era. Chambered in 7.62x39, this M59/66A1 uses a gas-operated, short-stroke piston action and feeds from a fixed/internal 10-round magazine. The 20.5" barrel and traditional SKS-pattern layout keep it true to the original military configuration described for this series.
The iron sight setup includes a front sight with a flip-up night sight element and a tangent rear sight leaf graduated 1–10 with a flip-up rear night-sight element. At the gas block, the rifle also has a flip-up grenade-launching ladder sight, a defining feature of the M59/66 pattern.
