This 1899 Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine is a solid-frame, U.S.-made example chambered in .30-30 and marked .30 W.C.F. It features a 20-inch round nickel steel barrel specifically marked for smokeless powder and has been fitted with an adjustable tang aperture rear sight, with the rear barrel dovetail cleanly filled using a Marble's-marked blank. What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30-30 (.30 W.C.F.) with 20-inch round nickel steel barrel
    • Adjustable tang aperture rear sight (installed)
    • Marble's-marked filler blank installed in the barrel rear-sight dovetail

Built in 1899, this late-19th-century Model 1894 carbine combines classic configuration with period-correct materials and markings. The barrel is marked "Nickel Steel Barrel Especially For Smokeless Powder," and the caliber is marked ".30 W.C.F." The rifle retains its original carbine character with a saddle ring on the left side of the receiver.

This carbine uses a 20-inch round nickel steel barrel secured by two carbine barrel bands and feeds from a full-length tubular magazine with a stated 6+1 capacity. The action is the traditional Model 1894 top-eject design with a right-side loading gate and a standard-size lever loop.

The sights have been thoughtfully configured for practical use. An adjustable tang aperture rear sight is installed, while the original barrel rear-sight dovetail has been neatly filled with a Marble's Gladstone Mich. U.S.A. filler blank. A front blade remains in the barrel dovetail for a clean, functional sight picture.

Furniture and build details are true to the carbine form: a straight-grip, uncheckered wood stock with a steel carbine buttplate and a 13.0-inch length of pull. The forged steel receiver is a solid-frame (non-takedown) type, and the rifle operates with an external hammer.

Manufactured in the United States during the 1890s era, this Model 1894 carbine presents as a well-configured example with period markings, a smokeless-rated nickel steel barrel, and a useful tang aperture sight installation that preserves the clean lines of the barrel.
