What’s Included
- Ruger M77 Hawkeye stainless receiver with integral Ruger scope-mount bases
- 26 inch unmarked stainless barrel with radial-port muzzle brake (not fully installed)
- Bolt (safety assembly not installed)
The M77 Hawkeye action is the controlled-round-feed design preferred for reliable cycling, and on this model the receiver is stainless with a matte/bead-blast finish. Ruger’s integral scope-mount bases are machined into the receiver for a secure optic interface when paired with Ruger rings.
The installed barrel is a 26 inch unmarked stainless tube capped with a radial-port muzzle brake. As presented, the barrel is not fully installed and is easily removable, making this a flexible starting point for fitting and final headspacing during a custom build.
Configured as a barreled action only, this setup is presented for single-shot use. There is no trigger assembly on the receiver, and the bolt does not have a safety assembly installed. The M77 Hawkeye design utilizes a three-position safety, but the safety assembly is not present on this example.
The caliber is unmarked and unknown. It is recommended to have a qualified gunsmith make a chamber cast to determine the exact caliber before use. An inspector’s boxed “12” mark is present, and the production year aligns with 2012 based on Ruger’s serial number range.
