Built by Inland Manufacturing in the USA, this full-size M1 Carbine follows the 1944 pattern with a gas-operated, short-stroke piston system and rotating bolt. It is chambered in .30 Carbine with a 15+1 capacity and uses a detachable box magazine. The operating slide is on the right side, consistent with the original design.
The rifle wears a parkerized finish over its steel barrel and metalwork. Furniture is walnut, featuring the desirable low-wood stock with the classic oval sling/oiler cut and a checkered steel buttplate. The wood upper handguard is true to form and complements the full-length stock.
Sighting equipment consists of a fixed front blade with protective ears and an adjustable rear aperture with an elevation slide and windage knob. The length of pull measures 13.0 inches, providing a comfortable and traditional M1 Carbine fit.
Period-correct details include the narrow barrel band with an integral sling loop and the absence of a bayonet lug, matching many wartime examples. Receiver markings include "U.S. CARBINE CAL .30 M1" on the ring and "INLAND MFG" on the heel. This example also incorporates a discreet, short cross-slot accessory rail segment under the barrel secured by three screws, and the upper handguard is drilled with two small holes near the rear.
