The Custom LW pairs a dark slide with a light gray aluminum alloy frame for a balanced two-tone presentation and reduced carry weight. The slide carries front and rear angled cocking serrations for confident manipulation, and it is roll-marked "CUSTOM LW." The non-railed dust cover maintains classic Government-profile lines.
Its 5-inch match-grade stainless steel barrel, fit with a traditional bushing, works with a Browning tilting-barrel system and a full-length guide rod. This setup is built around single-action-only operation in the 1911 platform and is tuned for consistent lockup.
Sights consist of a fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a fixed, serrated 2-dot rear that is drift-adjustable. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety, and this Series II pistol incorporates a Swartz firing pin safety.
Ergonomics and handling details include checkered double-diamond grips with medallions secured by hex-head screws, a smooth frontstrap, and a vertically serrated mainspring housing. The skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized 3-hole trigger with an over-travel screw round out the shooting interface.
