The OU-12 uses a proven boxlock over/under receiver with a top lever and a single-piece extractor for both chambers (non-ejector). Dual triggers offer straightforward barrel selection, and a manual tang safety keeps controls familiar.
Its 28-inch steel barrels are chambered for 2-3/4-inch shells and topped with a ventilated rib and a single brass bead. Fixed chokes are marked with star stamps near the breech; the specific constrictions are not legible.
The blued steel receiver carries light factory scroll engraving, complemented by an oval 'BOITO / MADE IN / BRAZIL' logo panel on the underside. Overall finish is traditional blued steel throughout.
The hardwood stock features a pistol grip, beavertail forend, and machine-cut checkering under a gloss varnish. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches. An aftermarket Ultra-Flex ventilated rubber recoil pad from Michaels of Oregon is installed.
Markings include 'MADE IN BRAZIL' and a PSE stamp on the interior receiver rail, with matching serial markings on the barrel assembly and receiver. Country of origin is Brazil.
