Built on a steel receiver with a matte black finish, this 1927A1 Deluxe operates as a semi-automatic, closed-bolt, blowback carbine in .45 ACP. It uses a top-mounted actuator/charging handle in a longitudinal slot and includes a manual safety with selector markings denoted "FIRE SAFE."
The 18-inch finned barrel is paired with a Cutts-style compensator. Sights are iron: a pinned blade front set on the compensator and an adjustable ladder rear in a protected base for clear sight alignment.
Walnut furniture completes the classic Thompson profile. It includes a fixed buttstock, a walnut pistol grip, and a vertical walnut foregrip with finger grooves. Length of pull is 17.0 inches, and the rifle is configured as a full-size carbine.
This example accepts both stick and drum magazines. Included are a 50-round L-drum and a 30-round stick magazine, offering immediate flexibility for range or display. The original hard case is also included for transport and storage.
Markings are consistent with Kahr-era production from Worcester, Massachusetts.
